Accommodation
Special room rates have been secured for delegates attending ESA10. All accommodation rates quoted are in Australian dollars, inclusive of GST and are per room, per night (room only) and are subject to availability. A credit card guarantee or a deposit of one night’s accommodation must be forwarded with your Conference registration to secure your booking. Deposits will be passed on to the hotels and delegates are responsible for paying the full balance of their account and all incidentals on departure from the hotel. The hotel will be responsible for issuing tax invoices for accommodation payments upon check out.
Closing Date
The closing date for accommodation bookings through the Conference organisers is Thursday 4 November 2010. Bookings made after 4 November 2010 should be made directly with the hotel. Bookings made direct with the hotel will be subject to availability and Conference rates may not apply. The hotel will issue a tax invoice for accommodation. All alterations or cancellations to accommodation should be made via the Conference Secretariat in writing. Some hotels may apply a cancellation fee of the first night’s deposit for cancellation of reservations. Accommodation deposits may also be forfeited if the room is not occupied on the requested ‘check in’ date.
Change of Booking
Amendments to accommodation bookings will only be accepted in writing to the Conference Secretariat by fax to 02 6281 1336 or email to esa@conlog.com.au.
Cancellation
Cancellations must be advised in writing to the Conference Secretariat. Cancellations received within 30 days of arrival may attract a penalty of one night’s accommodation. Cancellations within 48 hours or failing to arrive on the specified check in date may incur a cancellation or ‘no show’ fee, which can be up to the equivalent of the full value of the booked accommodation.
